Really nice flower, don't think I've seen this one before. Sorry about the ones you lost :(

I only use the traditional Japanese Cymbidium Mix (bought from Japan directly, not available in the US/Canada). They grow and bloom just like any other orchids once they are potted into this mix. I grow them summer outdoor in Toronto, in my shady perrenial garden in the backyard (they are shaded by the taller perrenial bushes). Only morning sun. Always keep the roots cool (very important). Attached are the blooming Cymbidium goeringii this spring.
