Cym Ladye: I understand that Cymbidium goeringii var. goeringii may not be for a novice grower. However, with coaching, preserverance, and listen to what the Asian Cymbidium growers have to say, and follow exactly what the rules are, all the problems can be overcome. Yes, Cymbidium goeringii requires a very disciplined person but at the same time it teaches you patience. When you can grow and bloom well, then it is very rewarding. Again, with this species, follow the rules, don's substitute and reinvent the wheels.

You all DO realize that these are all responses to 8-year -old threads? Some of the original posters aren't even around any longer.
