Default Large NoID Cym with 3 flower spikes

This NoID Cym was among my first orchids. I'm never quite sure what I'm doing with it, especially at repotting time, but it always seem to flower well so must be doing something right

Such a cheerful colour.
I love it.

I also love that the lips on these go red right before they fall off. They go out with a bang.

Yes a friend said she thought they were daffodils when she first saw the picture on facebook. I love seeing them every time I walk into the greenhouse, because they are an early burst of spring colour

Yes I love the red lip they get as they age. That red lipped one is still there a couple of weeks after the photo was taken and is only now showing signs it might drop soon. It's been red for a few weeks and I've been thinking it was going to fade for a while, but it just turned red and stayed that way. I think possibly the cap that covers the polinia was knocked off on that flower and I wonder if that triggered the colour change earlier than on all the other flowers.
