cymbidium growth rate

i know its kind of a stupid question but what is the usual growth rate ie from signs of new growth to flowering size?is it over one growing season or more?

A year... roughly.
My cymbidiums are spiking now. And their new growths started in February ish...

For a mature plant, or seedling ?

The first growth for a seedling may take a few years to become fully grown, but after that, new growth will become fully grown in shorter periods. A BS plant should be able to flower from the new growth within the year.

i just divided my 1st plants a couple of months ago and i'm happy to say all but one has put out new growth.time is flying as always and theres roughly 3 months left of the growing season before i hopefully get flowers again.
