Default Cymbidium Pendulum

I read online that this species was supposed to be the same as cymbidium aloforium or Simulans but when it bloomed the other day instead of red the color was a dark almost black color. Is this common?
How do I show the picture on this forum?

My I think Cym Aloforium comes in many different colors, if you have an ID of the plant you can check to see if there is a description of the flower from the seller or even on line.

To save a lengthy explanation:
Go to the HOME tag on the OB site menu to the left of the screen. Click on "About this Board". Scroll down to "how to post photos". That should answer your question.
