Hi I am relatively new to cymbidiums and I would like to know what you thought about the leaf color here. Since taking it outside, it has gotten fairly yellow-green and I do not know if this is ok or a sign of too much light? The new bulbs are growing well and there is no obvious sun damage. Sorry no ID on the plant but it is a yellow flower with narrow, thinner petals not like the very plump, rounded style flowers.

Looks quite okay to me. Good growing!

If it is too deep green means needs more light. Apple greenish color is very good.

I also always check the pbs, should feel firm and rock hard.

Oh ok! Yep, apple green is the perfect description of the color. Glad to hear that is normal! Thanks!

That actually looks very good! don't worry!

When they get too much light, it'll take on much more yellow tone, looking like yellow leaves with green hue rather than the other way around, which is actually very good thing for many orchids.

Once hardened in part shade, Cymbidiums can take full sun - if you water them enough. If you can't water every 1-2 days, they should have a light shade (Lois Duffin uses 20% shade cloth).
