Kefersteinia mystacina
Can't take credit for this, it arrived in bud. The other two buds might not make it. We will be suffering a heatwave in the coming days so I maybe facing disappointment big time (I have an onc. spike, a Catt. sheath and Phal buds).

Love this one, mine had bloom last month and grows another bud at this time, I do grow outside in Florida, and it is hot like hell, so I would not worry about this guy, it seems to like our hot weather!

That is a lovely flower with an interesting lip form.
A heat wave in SF Bay area in mid May? Maybe in San Diego....That is very odd climate change....I guess we will have a heat wave in Manhattan in June instead of mid July to the 105F or above if California started it early....

The temps are suppose to spike up 25°F by Wednesday (and drop by that much in a day or two). And if its that hot, the humidity will plummet*. The plants will be ok, just not sure about buds and flowers. And I just found a Neo spike.
Forget the plants, I'm gonna wilt. I pay exorbitant rent for the mild climate!
*Edit to clarify: We get hot when the famous SF fog (marine layer) doesn't come onshore (our cool humidity).

That is a very cool looking orchid! Good luck with the heat-wave. I hope all of your orchids will do just fine!
I rather dread what summer can toss at us. Two years ago, we had 95'F/35'C weather nearly the entire summer, last year, we had cool days and freezing night temperatures in June and July. Some summers, it is constant rain, some we have drought. Always a surprise.
