is making what sound like factual claims based on your subjective experience and feelings, claims that IMHO aren't really supportable merely on that basis. I feel your pain (re shipping costs). For this reason, i never buy 1, and only rarely 2 or 3 plants at a time. Once you get to 4 or more, avg cost is decent.

And, if you really go hog wild, some nurseries do provide free shipping if you order $3-400 worth of plants in one order.

Yeah I so WISH I could get that many orchids at once! College kid budget is rather extremely tight these days! hehe.

I am also trying to really check out if they will do well in my environment. Newbie mistake of buying plants that would require a set up that my russian tortoise would envy! In order to survive. Not doing that again!

But I do wish I could buy that many. I have gotten lucky to win 2 at the same time from the same seller and get a discount that is always Awesome!
