Cym goeringii x ensifolium
Just acquired for the foliage. I think at least a couple of years before blooms.

I know I've seen this somewhere. Maybe on ebay or one of the Japanese orchid site but I can't find it now!
That is one growth. The pbulb is the size for goeringii or ensifolium but the leaves are wider and shorter than you'd expect from the parents. I should take a pic of the base.

The numbered divisions on the scale is 1 cm.

Can anyone tell me if I can repot this now?
I've seen goeringii and ensifolium in gravel/pebbles of some kind here and elsewhere. Doesn't it get compacted?
I'm planning on LECA in a make-do plastic tall pot (until I can find a real pot). Its roots are too long for 2" net pots. Bad idea?
I'd like to do this in inorganic media. I also have Kanuma pumice (I think is too small and too absorbant), lava rocks, granite chip dressing (too small) and perlite for inorganic.
Any advice appreciated.
