Default Photosynthesis of cymbidium roots?
I am new to cymbidiums.

It's has been chilly, to a Floridian's standard, so I took my Christmas cym outside to sunbath. I slide the plant out of his pot to examine the roots and had a thought...

can you photosynthesize cymbidium roots like phals??
will that cause damage to root system?

I googled it but found no answers. Any ideas??
