This is a Chinese and North Vietnamese miniature sinense found in lowland forests in rich humus damp crevasses moistened by mists that is intermediate to warm growing culture that flowers in the fall through spring with fragrant blooms smelling like apricots. My plant must be a Chinese hybrid by the way it was named. I acquired this with fading blooms and after two years= it made me very happy this time with one mature bulb giving me two spikes and a new growth. This is 14 inches tall (with the spikes) planted in a small 8 inches tall and 4 inches wide Cymbidium pot that I inherited with the plant in a regular Cymbidium mix= I grow this in the East facing window of the bathroom weakly weekly k-lite fertilizer with seaweed mix. This is warm growing so I don’t give it rest nor expose it to freezing conditions like a regular large Cymbidium plant.
