Cymbidium ensifolium 'Shi Chang Hong'

It must be that time of year for this cultivar.

I got this from Ten Shin at the SEPOS orchid show in Philly this spring. This is the second time blooming for me as well. First time they all blasted.

The original spit in two when I was potting it up so I decided to try two different techniques. One is in #5A Orchiata in a 4 inch Cymbidium pot, the other is growing semi-hydro in a 5 inch pot. They are both doing equally well, but like "OrchidsAreFun" the variegation is fading on mine as well.

I think the colour is better in the bark plant than in the semi-hydro one.
