Default Cym. ensifolium 'Shi Chang Hong' bloomed

This is my first bloom from this Chinese Cymbidium. It has a second spike started and I'm sorry to say that I broke off a third infant spike a few weeks ago. it also has 2 new growths apparent.

Chinese Cymbidiums grow warmer that regular Cyms and require much less light. I grow mine in more light than Phals and less than Catts. It wants to be moist and fed heavily when growing in the summer. It has long roots so it likes a "tall" pot.

I clearly liked it because without realizing I already had one, I bought another one!
