Going through older pics I ran across this one again and thought to share.
Found this little fellow taking a nap on my Anselia back when we still lived in the apartment.
We always had lots of Hummers hanging around all the time, even had one zip through the beaded curtain once check out our birds and took off again, cheeky little buggers, lol.
I love humming birds! I have two feeders outside....which I am planning on bringing in and cleaning since it is chilly chilly outside.....I am a little late on my fall clean up...hopefully they aren't cracked because it is only in the mid 40's today and the lows have been in the 20's. Brrrr!
Thanks for sharing the picture! It is neat to see and hear other's stories....if only I could get a humming bird to fly into my house....lol!
Oh how neat I am a bird lover , here is Twiddle an Oriole I hand fed found on the lawn after a storm never did see the nest it fell out of . Twid. lived up to it's name Twiddled the heck out of my plants on the screen porch . I took the cage it spent nights in outside during the day , Twid. would come when I called spent nights in the cage on the porch . After a couple of weeks it picked up with other Orioles and migrated . The second picture taken the next year is Grackie the Grackle ,same deal ... Thanks for the cool picture . Gin
