Default gramm Wallissi(SP) is about to get it!!!

Okay That is it I am happy to say that I have a very happy (I guess) Gramm Wallissi (yeah I can't seem to ever spell this right ).....I am seeing what looks to be new growths coming off of the main root. I had to cut 2 older growths because they seemed to be rotting....The main stalk is still growing leaves and growing strong....Only issue is that it REFUSES TO COOPERATE W ME!!! It will not stay in its basket (hanging vanda basket), It did not like being in the bark/charcoal/lava rock mix...was staying to dry....Did not like being in the orchid moss mix stayed to wet and caused some rotting. It also was not stable in that either. So now I have it in a mix of orchid bark and moss and I am about to tie it down to its box, oy!!! This thing is such a pesky orchid. My other Gramm is not this dang pesky!! But then again it does not have any leaves right now so maybe that is why it behaves itself....

line the basket with coconut fiber then anchor the plant to the bottom firmly that it is not moving about on the basket.....sprinkle the media mix of your choice and then relax....let it be.....do not fuss over it....you have the humidity and heat in your atmosphere to sustain this plant....you may water this as needed....I was wondering why you managed to rot the roots and bulbs on these....they just love to be watered....and I am a very liberal waterer....

Okay will look into getting one of those It has thus far not been happy with anything I have done to it, I am ready to strangle it. Lol, thanks well the root rot was not bad bad. Just enough for me to get annoyed AGAIN! Ugh! What would you suggest stabilizing it with? Floral wire?

Yes you may use floral wire to anchor it....just make sure to stabilize the plant....the root growth will depend on its not moving about in the basket. I think whatever mix you have there now is working.
