Not an expert, however I read that Grammatophyllum can loose all the leaves at some point before or during the winter, and also its old BULBS can vanish the way they pretty much DRY OUT and disappear. This is normal and you do not have to even remove these dying bulbs (as I read you even shouldn't), till they turn to ass pretty much, and disappear. Hope someone more knowledgeable with these will help!

make sure it is in a bright place, warm and humid....as I said this is an equatorial plant and if humidity and light is low it is affected....if you put this outside in a shaded tree since the Texas humidity is great at this time of year....
There is also a bacteria and fungi infestation from the roots to the bulbs and up to the leaves. You need to bring out the big guns...it is being attacked fast. Gramm leaves just don't drop that fast since they haven't tasted the cool breeze yet in your environment.
I hope you are able to save this poor baby.

I got this link from Leafmite.
I hope this gives you information on how to combat what is ailing your plant.

Grammatophyllum Stapeliiflorum take less light than most Gramms. The grower might have grown it under shade cloth, it looks like leaf burn in the last 2 photos of new damage. The new growth will adapt to the new conditions.
Also almost all growers here are outdoors and when they grow them close the leave might have some spots or holes but that's ok for Outdoor grown plants IMO. It may have dropped those leaves from stress/heat during shipping. Remember here in PR their humidity is probably around 80% especially in their town. Gramms are really resilient. They can take drought and lose all their leaves and still come back. Gramm wallissii is a subspecies of Gramm speciosum according to some(I have both) It needs to be very large to bloom. It is considered the largest orchid in the world. I grow mine full sun, warm hot. It is potted in a bark ix which I am happy with. Mine after 3 years has grown to 3 ' tall and still a long way from flowering.

The seller you bought from uses charcoal and treefern fiber as a medium, you can use LECA, gravel, or and bark mix. Good luck.

I think you r plant is gonna be A-OK. The only time I worry about a Gramm is when a bulb is rotting and that can take a while for it to be fatal.. I have a Gramm where I saw the bulb starting to rot so I watered less and the infection stopped. I ended up with a partially hollow bulb but it still did its purpose of making a new growth.

I also moved them to my back porch just to be on the safe side, also they will most likely not be jacked with, by the grasshoppers because charlotte and her eggs live back there. Charlotte being a very Large yellow and black garden spider. needless to say I hope her young take over the entire back porch when they hatch!
