Would spaghum work I will have to order the seaweed extract and 2 day ship it other wise. I also have super thrive that I use when I transplant to help with shock.

Is maxi crop a good brand? I found some online at amazon.

I think im going with better gro...? But it will be a few days before it can get here. What do you mean by tossing it in a bag with media exactly...

HI AND YES, i had similar experience yesterday, but I must say my orchid was still in much better shape (sorry to say that). Rosie moved my thread to section "VENDOR FEEDBACK" so I would definitely go ahead and post the info about seller there, to alarm others. At least, by us dealing with this, we can prevent other buyers to get such a bad plants! Now, regarding seaweed, I ordered mine from Amazon, pretty good price, and if you would happen to be Amazon Prime member, there is always free 2 days shipping with any order. I also read about sugar and water recently when getting orchids and potting them, but I am not sure what sugar does and it seems like you would have to wash it after soaking it in sweet water anyway, so I would not go there. I use seaweed for last 2 months and I see really big difference in the roots of my orchids, so I worship this stuff now!
Regarding the brand, Maxi Crop is sold by Amazon, I am not using that one but is says pure extract so I assume it will be the same as I am using which is Grow More.
