What a cool plant and flower. I never heard of these before. What variety is it and where did you get it?

Cheers.

I love it and love the pot. I have had my eye on one for about a week now online. Where on earth did you get that cool pot from?

Jim, Grammatophyllum scriptum citrinum, you can purchase them from kawamotoorchids on eBay, or I know Seattle orchids were selling this one as well, I am sure more sellers will offer it. I got mine from kawamotoorchids eBay last year, purchased 2 and this is the plant this year, blooming since July

They do grow pretty fast, also keep in mind, the pot is gonna get very heavy, they have 2 sets of roots, the ones inside the medium and the ones growing outside on the top, these may eat your basket within few years:-))) pretty easy to grow, water lovers, and love lot of sun and fertilizer.

Default RF Orchids

I got a lovely Gramm. scriptum var. citrinum and a bunch of those pots at RF Orchids (in Homestead, FL.) yesterday. A marvelous place.
