HI! And thanks for the comments! I don't know how old it is, but I bought it last year from Kawamoto Orchids. I do not grow this one in full sun because I have another variety of this one and I burned some of the leaves by doing it. It grows right along with my cattleyas.

I HAVE as a matter of fact split a grammatophyllum. But not this one. (They are the ones that are pictured in another thread) I bought a huge plant and split it in 4.
