Oeceoclades spathulifera, flowering now
Just because it's still rather uncommon. One of my favorite foliage orchids, too.

Pics of the whole thing? We'd love to see the foliage too.

Sorry - I wasn't intentionally holding out on the foliage pictures. Here are a few I took this afternoon.

I am in search of one, I have 3 other Oeceoclades and want to add this to my collection. Where did you get it?
Maybe you would be willing to trade divisions?
Thnx,
Eric

Hi Eric,
I collect Oeceoclades and Eulophia (I'd collect anything in the Eulophinae, but those 2 genera are the only ones I ever see) too.
This one is really a slow grower for me, and I divided it for someone else last year, so I can't make another division yet, but otherwise I would be happy to trade. I have some other things that I could probably divide, though.
Glenn Lehr (New World Orchids) had this, but I don't know if he still does. I don't really know why he had those, since they are rather far away from his specialties (Neofinetia, Sedirea, Dendrobium monoliforme, etc.). Malala (in Madagascar) lists it, but what showed up was actually O. gracillima (syn. roseovariegata) - another of my favorite Oeceoclades, but not spathulifera.
I'm going to see if I can set a pod to send to Troy.
