The third character is Lian, which means lotus. 100% sure.
The fourth character may have been written incorrectly or it may be a different way of writing it.
I think the fourth character may have been intended to be written as 辧, instead of the way the character is written on your tag; which would be Ban - meaning 'to manage' or 'to handle'.

Thanks you two!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I FOUND IT!! You two are correct! It's Lian ban! I googled Cymbidium goeringii Lian Ban and found a list of Ten Shin's Cymbidiums for the Vancouver orchid society. Along with the names it has the last two chinese characters! (I assume that's because all georingii have the same first two characters) and on the list was Cymbidium goeringii Lian Ban 蓮瓣 and that matches exactly!! And since that is from Ten Shin's list I'm %99.999 sure that it's correct!!!!
Thanks for both of your help!!!!!!!
Anyone who is interested in Cymbidium goeringii Lian Ban 蓮瓣 send me a PM!

Wow, I just realized that I actually have two different types! The tags are similar so I didn't notice until I looked very closely. On that list from Ten Shin, I didn't see the second one...Any ideas? It's hand written so that just makes things harder. It has two sides, the first side is the same as the first two characters of 'Lian ban'...

Quay;
I asked Matthew hows he grows his Cyms, and he said he grows everything in straight coconut husk chips.
I potted mine up in a mix I made myself for my Cym. kanran last year. 1/2 bark, 1/4 sponge rock, 1/4 LECA. It seems to work okay though I may try Kallima's straight Orchiata since I have a bag of it.
Cheers.

Thanks! I have some plain Orchiata that is the 2nd to smallest size and also a mix that's small fir bark, perlite, and charcoal. Satomi said she grows her's in 3 fir bark, 1 part perlite. I might try both, since I have enough plants to try it on.

Okay so I sent Matt the first picture of what we ID'd as 'Lian Ban' he said that it is var. Alba....I don't know which is more correct? The one that matches or what he says. What do you guys think?
I just sent him the second handwritten one to see what the thinks.
I also just potted a small one up in orchiata in a plastic basket ( I am too lazy to find a pot)

There seems to be an alba form of the Lian ban that is lacking the markings on the labellum of regular Lian Ban, it must be what Matt is talking about!

I mainly saw pictures of Lian Ban with and without markings on the labellum, plus you said earlier in this post that you had a tag with written Lien Ban var alba!
