You have a very exotic flower....a picture of the whole plant could help us identify it better....but hybrids can be quite hard to pinpoint ....

*I have a Taiwanese cymbidium in spike....I will post pictures soon as it opens its blooms

I don't know therr name but this is a very beautiful bloom. Love the colors. Send a picture of it to Rudvalis orchids in san diego, ca. They're on the net. She can tell you.

it either is or is a hybrid with Cym Ensifolium.

I have just seen one on Orchidwiz that looks identical -
Cym. ensifolium ssp. ensifolium

I think it is beautiful. I love the chinese cyks for their oriental look. Especially in the tall vases. I'd love to have a bunch growing under my japanese maples which are trimmed in the oriental style. Just lovely.

This appears to be a hybrid with either Cym. goeringii or ensifolium in the background or maybe both. Not a pure species in my opinion.
