NWOSS
Taken at the Northwest Orchid Society Show. Couldn't find a name tag, however, which was a disappointment. The copper color is outstanding.

Lovely! The Iwanagara Apple Blossom is lovely! I have never seen the white one before. Really beautiful flowers and, of course, amazing photography!

A friend has suggested that is Mighty Sunset, 'Roxburgh Red'.

There are more and more vibrant orange Cym hybrids out there to attempt to put a name on this cultivar. I could name at least a half a dozen crosses from which this flower might have come. The form on this particular cultivar lacks a flat form but does have a nice color.
Again, the warning about putting names on orchids where the tag has been lost. ....Please do not do it.....

Yes, I know the warning, and there is no danger. In this case the plant does not belong to me and I do not even know the owner. For all I know it may already have a name. It was photographed at the Northwest Orchid Society show last spring.
