Really quite beautiful. The lip is especially attractive. Does this species always flower this early for you? I thought (and I could be mistaken) that Cym. lowianum is normally a late-spring bloomer. Perhaps there's so variability in its bloom season. Congratulations on your wonderful flowers.

A true lowianum is definitely a late season bloomer but it depends on the hemisphere. A plant blooming now in the Southern Hemisphere would signal the end of the blooming season there.

This part of world where i live, C. lowianum flowers from april to june, normally.
My concolor starts flowering "wrong time = winter " because i bought it last spring from Holland and it has been in greenhouse condition there and has a new growth almost mature when i got it.

In the fall i exposed it to colder weather and after that i took it inside. Soon after that i noticed a flowerspike is coming.

At the moment i grow my C. lowianum concolor-form under 500 watt led-light and i am waiting for flowers ...

April to June is about right. If grown in greenhouse conditions, it will more likely be more toward April. If grown outdoors, more likely toward June.
