Do you put it outside for the summer? They like lots of light, as much as you can give them without burning them. They are heavy feeders so I give mine slow release fertilizer as well as regular feedings of the same fertilizer I give the other orchids. They need a good chilling in the fall. I'm beginning to think that maybe our fall was too warm. I'm tempted to put them back outside on our front porch.

I know we didn't have a really cool fall this year because I never bring my Xmas cactus in until just before the first frost, I will give it more light when it goes back out this spring. Thanks for the help

It's easy to get side tracked when it comes to talking about orchids. Sometimes it can be beneficial. Someone just told me there will be a grower moving to our island! Now I have a better chance of getting some great orchids!
