Default Cymbidium aloifolium

A great little flower on a plant that can get really big. I thought it was done for the season so I was moving to it's Summer resting spot. Lo and behold, there are another two spikes starting, that makes numbers 6 and 7. This plant is tough, it stays outside all year long here in Central Florida, even when we get our annual Winter freeze, yes it gets cold in Florida.

Ron, you are very kind, there is another more intensely colored clone that I would love to get ahold of. As to the scent, there doesn't seem to be one, I will check again tomorrow in theheat of the day. The only bad thing but this particular species is that it grows like a weed. If left undivided a mature blooming sized plant will in no time at all be a monster that you won't be able to lift let alone divide. That's what happened to this one, had to divide it with a saws-all. I wound up getting about 20 good sized plants out of the monster. Since then, I make sure that I divide it every second year.

Jonada - I'll add you to the list of people who want divisions.
