Cyms tolerate heat well, just need the period of cool nights in fall to initiate spikes if they aren't warmth tolerant
I agree. I have standard Cyms out in 90 degree heat at times in the summer and they are fine. But I let them get close to freezing ( around 36 or 40F) before bringing them inside in fall. That's what initiates the bloom spikes.

Yeah, mine have taken highs of over 100. It does cool off significantly at night here tho, even during extreme heat.
Avoid direct mid-day, afternoon sun if it's extremely hot.
