Default Vase of Cymbidiums

We cut off the spikes of some to display them in the loungeroom. We just don't have enough room for all the plants and don't like leaving them outside in the weather.

8 different ones in this vase.

Wow--to have that many blooming at once! They are all stunning.

How long do cymbidiums last as a cut flower in a vase?

Yeah I have more than this in flower right now, it's been an amazing start to spring so far for us.

I would say it depends on how long they've been on the plant but they can last in good condition for 2 to 3 weeks depending on the type. On the plant they obviously last longer than that though but we were running out of room.

Have more plants coming into bloom soon so stay tuned for more photos.
