Love these Chinese Cymbidiums and this is an especially good clone of C. goeringii. Love their scent, too, and find it intoxicating.

Thank you all!
Yes Lagoon, they are hard to find in Canada, Ten Shin Gardens are the only ones to have some and I was lucky to be able to pre-order it for the Vancouver show at the end of March.

Nice! Becareful, Chinese cymbidiums are almost as addictive as Neofinetias!

There are nurseries that specializes in Chinese cymbidiums, you just need to know where to go

Wow! I love how the variegation shows up on the flowers as well as the foliage! This is a very beautiful goeringii. I'm growing more and more interested in Chinese cymbidiums for their scents and relatively compact size.

Hey Jorch, good to hear from you!
I am trying hard to limit my addiction(s) but on the bright side, Cymbidium take much more space thant Neos... so I will have to stay small on the Cymbi number, whereas my Neofinetias are reaching the number 40...

Can you be more specific on which nurseries you know ?

Very neat flowers. Ten Shin was at our show in Feb and had some wonderful plants - I had to buy a few!

Hi Lagoon:

you can find Cymbidium goeringii both Chinese and Japanese in Canada from Flora Peculia in Toronto.

The ones Tenshin brings I would call them 2nd or even 3rd tier Cymbidium goeringii. What that means is that the Chinese (I am Chinese) don't consider them as the classic varieties that are appreciated for generations after generation (some classic varieties are discovered 300 years ago and are still highly regarded today). I can find you any Cymbidium goeringii you want you see in books.
