I have noid Cym hybrids that differ a fair amount in shape and size of blooms as well. Just depends on the parents.

Wjs2nd my apologies if I got the wrong idea. I had looked at Sienna's post and to me she was saying that the colour of all the plants was the same rather than the style/shape.

Not only do they vary in color and size but absolutely in flower shape (form), especially if you look at the many different forms found in the species and often carried into their first generation hybrids...... mastersii, erythrostylum, elegans and tracyanum to name but four of the better known species.

Behind all hybrids today is the selective breeding of many hybridizers with many different species to come up with the rounder, flatter form, the vibrant solid colors and the different blooming habits we find in the Cymbidiums most commonly sold today.
