Default NoID Cymbidium Blooms

Finally it bloomed. It took forever to open up for me and the flowers are a bit darker than last year's.
But I am still enjoying it in our back yard

Gorgeous, just gorgeous. Is it a negative thing that the flowers are darker than before? They look lovely to me, but I don't know anything about Cymbidiums at all, so...

OB's not good, not good at all... *glares at all lovely paphs and cymbidiums*

Not a negative (I don't think). Just surprising to me how different culture conditions can affect flower shapes and colors. Last year when I bought cymbidium in bloom it probably was grown in more perfect conditions than I am providing. Either way, I'm happy with my blooms.

Beautiful!
Sometimes cooler temps result in darker blooms - I have noticed this with a few of my orchids that are grown outside.
