Peloric Cym. Strathdon "cooksbridge noel"
Well that is how the tag is spelled. Any corrections would be helpfull.
Have had this for 3 years, did not flower last year, but this year 5 spikes, outdoors hanging basket, grows great.
Dig on the petels and the markings.

Just love it! Wish I could find me one of those! The name looks correct except the cultivar name should have capital letters to start each word. OrchidWiz shows two peloric cultivars so this one must be prone to it. There are more photos of the pelorics than the regular one

Don't often see peloric cyms. I wonder if they are less prone to such than catts?

The currently accepted name for this Cymbidium is Cym. Strathdon 'Cooksbridge Fantasy' AM/AOS, B/CSA (Nip x Kurun) and it has been awarded under that name. It is a stable meristem mutation released by Gallup and Stribling about 12 years ago from the mericloning of Cym. Strathdon 'Cooksbridge Noel'. No meristems I have seen to date have varied enough to warrant a cultivar name other than 'Cooksbridge Fantasy'.
It opens a deep rose and fades to a very attractive dusty rose. Great for specimen growing! The trick is to get all the flower spikes to open at the same time so that the flowers are all the same color at the same time!

Not sure if I am just mis-understanding you, but OrchidWiz shows the cultivar 'Cooksbridge Noel' as a peloric or variegated flower as well which looks like this one posted here. It shows both 'Cooksbridge Fantasy' and 'Cooksbridge Noel' as awarded cultivars.
