Default Cymbidiella pardalina



the bright red on the lip only last one day . I caught the 3rd one opening when I was taking pics of #2. It turns dark after a day or so. The leaves are like bees wax. . Has slight fragrance but Im not sure of what it is or resembles.



Stays outside in the hot shade. I understand it took 5 years to bloom

Cool RJ, Love those blooms!
These have interested me for years but I don't know very much about them. Are you saying the plant has to be five years old to bloom or it just took 5 years to get yours to bloom.

it took 5 years to bloom from the time it was planted from bare root ..thats a long time

the fact that it bloomed at all is amazing...how do they do it?
