brought him in for a picture..hes been outside for the past month after he was done blooming..(only paid 10 dollars for it..so what the heck)...giving him water almost every other day. texas is drought stricken mind you and its starting to get hotter and very dry. he gets maxi-crop liquid fish every other week and weekly weakly peters cal mag the rest of the time.
have him tucked under some trees in the back and he only gets east sun in the a.m. after about 11 hes pretty much just outside in the heat.
counted 5 new "old" growths that didnt bloom and 4 new fresh growths. will the old ones that didnt bloom bloom next time If I do good? But I noticed the old bulbs that have bloomed the previous time all been cut down..So I wait till new growths get well going and let the leaves get used up and cut them too Im guessing...should be another experience anyway

cant beat that at any price..
oh and he has a phaius orchid buddy next to him. orchids need buddies too

they get lonely
