I can attest to the warm tolerance of the Lady Sarah 'Strawberry Milk'. I bloomed it at lower elevation in Hawaii. I think the Sarah Jean in the background has the warm strain of floribundum in it near as I can tell. I have the same result with Sarah Jean 'Ice Cascades'

Hi Bob,

This is interesting... I have several Sarah Jean "Ice Cascade" I started from flask about 3 years ago and they have been very slow in growing. I have them at 1250 mts. but I have been thinking about moving them up to our higher location.

Now that you mention they have warm tolerance in them, I'm beginning to wonder if I might be doing something wrong.

Can you provide any special tips on growing this hybrid at low altitudes?

Thanks a lot for any insight on this.

Regards,

Rodrigo

Rodrigo I didn't do anything special with the SJ 'IC'.. they are smaller so it looks like they grow slowly but they were fine. They bloomed two months short of two years from flask for me. I had them at 350 meters elevation so pretty low. I fed them quite a bit while young (250ppm N) once a week for a year and a half.
