Hey guys,

Yes it is the same Randy it was before. I was on hiatus from a lot of things. Lots of things were going on but I'll be around from time to time now.

Thanks for welcoming me back!

Blessings,
Randy

Smile Cym. tracyanum scent

Indeed it is delicious! :iagree:

When mine was flowering this year it was just at the right time for our orchid society banquet. I don't go because I have a hard time with a limited menu (can't eat onions) but one of our members took it for me and made sure everyone got a wiff.

It was my first show table first place for the year since the banquet was in January.

Namaste,
Randy

hi thumper,
i use pine bark, finer then most cyms as the roots are thinner, with perlit, to give it a bit of areation. if perlit is hard to find foam chunks or pebble work just aswell. I would avoid a clay pot as it drys the medium out too quickly. hope this helps and good luck.

Really nice flower ,I always think that the cym species are special after all that's where we got all the wonderful hybrids we have today. My favorite specie is Lowianum concolor. But I don't have a single specie cym in my collection today as they were all lost in a fire some years ago
