ensifolium is a bit tricky to grow and the flowers are small and short lived, though fragrant. Where did you get this one? If it was from ebay from China I'd be careful to test it for virus as half the ones I bought from China were virused. The nice thing about ensifolium is it comes in many colors, alba (almost white), green, red, pink etc.
Culture requires a warm environment, and rather dry winter with lots of water in summer. It likes the tall cymbidium pots for the Asian varieties with lots of drainage in the bottom. It seems to prefer straight bark rather than coconut. I'd use a mix of bark and perlite to keep it draining especially good if you can get Orchiata bark.

thanks for this info. I got one, with variegated leaves, and have it in a tall pot. Looks odd, but the plant certainly likes it ! Growths from both ends and the middle....

just an update.............I have a spike ! Seems to like being kept in zygo-like conditions. 80f max, s-facing and gets filtered sun.
