My cymbidium buds are finally opening. This plant has really tested my patience .

Unhappy Patience
MY cymbidium has big thick flowers that just don't want to open. I check on them every few hours.
Maybe they need "inducing" or a CS.
My family tell me to stop looking at them. A watched kettle never boils my Mum says.
I am afraid the grasshoppers will feed on them before they open.
Or i will wake up one morning and they will be gone.
Happy Valentine's Day to everyone in OZ.

I took some photos last night and I wanted to share with you. The flowers are slightly fragrant, a sweet fragrance, but I don't know with what to compare it.

It's a very pretty plant. I love the colors on the blooms, and the brown spots on the lip.
