Cym. dayanum is a native orchid here but i have never seen the alba form in the wild.
This clone used to rare, but these years, seedlings are easily available.

You are right in that it is now easily available, at least here in Northern California. A hobbyist grower, who had imported a mother plant, mericloned it and selfed it. I have plants of each. All bloom well and are definitely small growers which prefer a warmish environment. Thank you for posting the photo as it is a delightful species in its alba form.

It is definitely a warm grower, but unlike some tropical orchids, the species tolerates low temperature. So it will grow well between 5 'C to 35 'C. In Taiwan. they can be found at the elevation about 200 to 1000 meters.
