My Cymbidium was one of my easiest plants that I had there. I put it outside in morning sun as soon as it warmed up [about the end of May] and left it out until the last week in October, protecting it from frost. By August, it is good to put them out in full sun. They really do well with time release fertilizer such as Smart coat, as well as a feeding of regular orchid food, about every other watering through the summer. When you bring them in in October, let them dry out a little [not completely] and try to give it a bright, cool location. It usually only takes a few weeks after that, until you'll see the spikes starting.
