This shows the dominance of a species when crossed with a modern hybrid. Color is nice but the form is definitely of pumilum type. If the plant is small in size on this specific plant, then the hybridizer got what was wanted.

Yup, plant is on the smaller/compact side, about 24" high with narrow leaves
