Cym Kanran in spike

I'm rather chuffed at the moment, I just came home from a few days break and found I have a flower spike on my Kanran
I don't know how I missed it as it isn't small, but I think I thought it was more new growth
It was in the garden, but now I'm worried about damage from weather and insects so have brought it in to my cool area in the house. (good light and cool air movement)

If it flowers this will be a first for me and I just hope I haven't jinxed it by telling you all!
It looks to be a couple of weeks from flowering so watch this space!
