thanks. looks like only the philippine specie phals have the characteristics.

Keiki's from roots... i think its a phal schilleriana or stuartiana.

Cymbidium finlaysonianum, aloifolium, bicolor are quite sturdy plants. They can be found mounted in trees just fine. Especially with finlaysonianum, very vigorous plant that can tolerate even semi-terrestrial media. Though I can't say much about the Australian species due to the lack of availability in here. :)
