I realize that you are in Oz, but you might shoot Heather Drobus at tophatorchids.com a message and see if she knows of any nurseries/growers down your way that might have stock. I picked up Sweet Devon from her when I was headed home from NZ last fall. It is a long shot, but most of the growers in California seem to keep tabs of who has grown what out of flask or who has what on the bench... Good luck, my clone is just coming into flower now.

Nice one. I'll drop them a line.

Would be great to see some pics of yours in flower.

Cheers

Default Sweet Devon 'Sweet'

Chris: here's a pic of mine that I took yesterday. There are still spikes coming, so it is definately as flower-powered as they say it is!

Try Kevin Hipkins at Royale Orchids in OZ. A little closer to home than California.

I have always found a good rule of thumb when inquiring how to grow a primary hybrid (species to species) is to look up the growing conditions for each species and then use your common sense on how each might affect the other. If you are buying from a reputable grower, they should also be able to guide you in regard to the cultural requirements of plants you purchase.

The more you learn about the species behind the hybrids the better a grower you will become.

Good luck,

CL
