If you did not getthe chance to go to the Santa Barbara show you missed some great Cymbidiums The show was great and the Cymbidium Society of America COngress had some great speakers!!! Our own Lady Cym won Grand Champion with her Pink standard Cymbidium. Well done!!!

Here is a photo of the Grand Champion Cym. Satin Dragon 'Cinnabar' HCC/AOS, B/CSA. It was just registered by the RHS and is a cross of (Khan Flame x Francis Aebi). It was hybridized by Kevin Hipkins of Royale Orchids in Australia and I got it in 2007 at Cal-Orchids as one of three unbloomed seedlings in a 4" pot.

More Santa Barbara photos: Cym. Sunblast 'Envy' B/CSA was the Reserve Champion of Show and owned by Cal-Orchids. The other two were in the San Gabriel Society display. The Regal Ruby was awarded a Bronze from the CSA judges.
