Default Cymbidium Len Southward two spikes this year

The only thing that I don't like about cymbidiums that produce pendant spikes is that they don't lend themselves well to photography. The madidum hybrids are, for me, especially challenging to photograph because the multiple spikes are usually very long and they occur on different sides of the plant.

This one produced two spikes this year, and the blooms are quite pretty. The nice apricot scent is a bonus.

Yes, CL, it is (at least according to the tag). I got this as a sprouted backbulb from Loren Batchman (I might have mangled the spelling of his name) at Casa de las Orquideas four years ago.

Make sure that you give it lots of room. It's actually larger than most standard cymbidiums that I've seen.
