Default Cymbidium noid

I photographed this Cymbidium in the conservatory at Manito City Park, Spokane, Washington a few days ago when I was there for business. There was no tag on the plant so I have no idea what hybrid this is. Was using my new Canon 7D.

Ron,

As I suspect you are aware, after visiting your photo sites, it is best when taking close-up orchid photos of a single flower, especially for identification purposes, to take the shot looking square on at the flower making certain that the entire flower fills the frame. Lip, column and throat studies are always interesting but mostly of use in addition to a full flower photo.

I am learning to operate an Olympus digital so know what you are going through!

Good Luck with your new camera. I won't even try to make an ID on your flower.

CL
