Default Spike time, a little further down the road

Hello all, posting a follow-up to my earlier post. There are a ton of cymbidiums out in the gh that are in various stages of spike--I see new spikes on plants every day. Here are a few that are just waiting to pop. I'll post seperate pics as they open.
Enjoy!
Adam

Cyms do take quite a while to bloom once you see the spikes...though it's a bit compounded in my case--I keep my greenhouse between 43-45F at night, not 48-50F as most cymbidium growers that I have encountered do. The cooler nights delay spike formation and elongation, but I will gladly give up speed for better floral color and development, plus it cuts down on my propane bill.
