Corina,
Sadly, this is the trend of the future in Cymbidiums. The off shore mass distributers of meristem Cymbidiums are putting only clonal names on their crosses - no parents and no registration. Compare it to the rose industry which has mericloned certain new releases each year and has given them names as 'Peace', 'Double Delight' and the like. You never know the parents of these roses. Unfortunately, the chances of finding anything more than what is on your tag, in my opinion, are slim to none.
If you by chance bought it from an orchid society member, it could also be a clonal name given a plant that had lost its original tag.
In any case, enjoy the flower. It is definitely not Paddy Mouse, which is an orange cross.

I also have a Cym Paddy, and I have to say that these are gorgeous! Yours is very nice. But like Cym Layde says, you (and I) will never get any more information than that. The big growers that produce these things 'en masse' rarely register their crosses and just give them trade names that have no meaning for anyone but the breeder. I tried to get information from the company who produced it, but they basically told me "get lost".

Those are growers and not lovers! They do not respect their plants.
Oh, how well i know this from roses. There are roses on the market with names like Queen of Wonder, an Imperial, and such big words, and when you get home you discover that that rose has another name the name given by the breeder, that was in no way respected, even if just for the long hours of work.
However, roses being so widely grown, there is an ample database even with the comercial names and their equivalent.
The problem in Romania, is that orchids are sold here without names, all NOID, and it is not possible to make a determination, even though that would be so usefull for a passionate grower who wants to give them the best care, addapted to each plants needs.
Well, i will enjoy it fully as it is a beauty.

Not just Romania, NOIDS are everywhere!! I don't think you need to know the name in order to give it the best care. If you know it's a phal, treat it like a phal, and so on for the other orchid genus.
