Default Cym Valley Splash 'Awesome'

Not sure why, only two flowers on a large plant. Maybe not enough light this year.

Sorry to have to tell you this Bolero but I don't think that is Valley Splash Awesome . It is similar but not the same.

I'm pretty sure it is 'awesome'. I have seen variation in this mericlone and some of them lately at shows have been darker like this one and the judges seem to think they are the right plant.

We could be wrong though.

i was hoping that you would not say that , because that means that mine is suspect then , mine has a heavier banding in the lip . i know that this can vary between plants though. interesting though because what we are seeing is from one extreme to the other. nice flower though, would not mind having it so that i can show folks just how much clones can differ ! sorry about the bum typing i am one handed at the moment and cant press the caps key
regards

Thanks Des, you still may be right. We have a lot of these here as you probably would in SAF.

Next time it flowers I will get it checked by the local nursery and see what they think.
